What's New at Hen Feathers
2010 Block of the Month Quilts
Block of the months are done on your own. When you sign up you are committing to purchasing the full quilt. There is no scheduled time or class you have to attend. Pick up your kit the first of the month and work on the project at home. We are always happy to help you if you have a question. Kit includes fabric for top and binding of quilt. Backings are not included in the kits but are available at Hen Feathers. Each project has the option of paying for the year and receiving 10% off or pay monthly.
Civil War:
12 month program- $24.95 per month.
This beautiful quilt finishes to a generous 100” x 112” in shades of browns, blues, pinks, greens & golds. It will definitely become an heirloom.
Back to Nature:
12 month program- $16.95 per month
Imagine pinecones, berries, and acorns, mixed with lush greenery, then throw in some red and blue accents and you have this gorgeous quilt that finishes at 96 x 106”.
Be Merry:
6 month program- $18.95 per month
Celebrate the season with this pieced holiday quilt that has just a little bit of appliqué. It can be made into one 60 x 75” quilt or two smaller wall quilts.
Our kits will be made using Nancy Halverson's fabric from Benartex.
MYSTERY QUILT
Everyone loves the mystery quilts we have done and this one will be just as popular. We are doing it a little different this year. This years quilt is a 6 part series by Debbie Caffrey. Patterns are available to anyone interested for $12. If you purchase fabric for the quilt when you sign up the $12 will be deducted from the price of the fabric. The quilt finishes to a twin size or add optional borders for full or queen. Only 3 fabrics are required- a light, medium & dark.

· · Check out our easy WSU quilt made from 1 t-shirt and fabric in school colors. We will have kits available or can help you design your own for any school.
· MACHINE QUILTING -- We have several quilters happy to machine quilt your masterpiece.
· LARRY’S SHARPENING SERVICE is happy to pick up scissors to be sharpened. Drop them off with us and prepay $6.50 for scissors and $3 for rotary blades.
· QUILTS OF VALOR & PROJECT LINUS -- We still collect blocks for quilts of valor and blankets for Project Linus. You can drop off your blocks and/or quilts anytime at Hen Feathers.
